About me âŠ
Stories with crumbs to followâŠ
Cosy mysteries, comforting food, and love stories for grown-ups.
Hi, Iâm Jo.
I live in paradise on Queenslandâs Sunshine Coast with my husband, although itâs my travels that usually inspire my storiesâand my baking.
Iâm an unapologetic daydreamer, eternal optimist and confirmed morning person who writes cosy crime and later-in-life love stories, almost always with something delicious coming out of the oven. My books are filled with mysteries, recipes and second chances, served with a generous side of real life.
Storycrumbs is where I share what happens between the books: the places that inspire them, the recipes that find their way into them, the adventures, the writing life, and the small moments that become stories.
When Iâm not writing, youâll usually find me baking, reading, walking along the beach at sunrise, volunteering at the op shop and keeping an eye out for hidden treasures, or planning the next trip and the next novel.
My life goals (apart from becoming a world-famous author) are to appear as an extra in Midsomer Murdersâperhaps walking a dog through Badgerâs Driftâand to cook my way through every Nigella cookbook. Yes, every single one.
And if I ever make it onto Mastermind, my specialist subject will be Midsomer Murders: The Tom Barnaby Years.
So pull up a chair, put the kettle on (or pour a glass of wine), and stay awhile. There are plenty of storiesâand crumbsâto follow.
