Hey Joanne, I always enjoy these. I smiled at, "If it matters enough, make the effort." Sometimes that's exactly the nudge we need. And yes... I'm still quietly watching that Basket with curiosity and a healthy dose of patience. 😊 Whether the tide turns in a week or over several years, I'm learning that some of life's best changes don't arrive all at once. Wishing Grant continued healing, and I hope Europe fills your creative well to overflowing. X
Five weeks to go! Waaah! You are just ahead of us, and I too have started mentally writing lists about what I need to do for the housesitter. Great news that Grant is on the mend and will be fit for sightseeing duties :)
Pleased that he's well on the mend and can look forward to easy walking O/S. Good idea to pace your work schedule too. Nothing comes from crush and burn. Slow and steady wins the race - at least that's what I tell myself.
Capricorn Moon will help keep our feet on the ground and concentrated on the tasks that need our focus --- yep that is exactly where I have been and will be until Thursday.
Glad to hear Grant is on the road to recovery - hematomas can be a pain in the....Europe -- connecting less so no blog posts on And Anyways? I totally get the decluttering and sorting before a housesitter comes and good to get those tasks out of the way so once home life feels like it is a little more smooth sailing wtthout old projects popping in. Take care. Bernie
Hi Jo, I've missed you! So much happening in both our lives at the moment and it is easy to lose touch - isn't it? In saying that I'm looking forward to our Stunners Book Club next month. I have enjoyed catching up with you this morning, reading your post whilst enjoying a leisurely breakfast. I'm so pleased Grant will be able to at least go to Europe even if you won't be walking marathons. Where are you off to? I always get excited when others are off on an adventure. I'll be following along. Take care lovely. xx
Good to hear Grant is getting better. I know the feeling; my hubby is still in some pain after his terrible fall - and it has been nearly 2 months! All the best to you.
Hi Jo - so good to hear that Grant is making progress and I bet he's thrilled to be off the crutches - they're soooo restrictive. I'm always so impressed with all the stuff you have on the go at any one time - it makes my life look even more 'boring' than it is! x
