Firstly Jo, I must say that I don't like onions (or garlic) at all - either raw or cooked, but I'm sure my partner would love this recipe. The End of The Affair sounds like a novel I'd enjoy, and to be read by Colin Firth. It's now on my list. Thanks for the recommendation
Oh, how I love onions. Especially grilled with green pepper. But PC not so much. Your recipe sounds delicious. Thank you for sharing. My mouth is watering over here.
I will check out The End of the Affair. Read by Colin Firth, eh? That makes it more appealing. Just finished Broken Country. Riveting.
I've not read Graham Greene but I know I would enjoy The End of the Affair. I think I will download the audible version as I'm also a fan of Colin Firth. Thanks for adding the recipe too - we need to bring back Book Club Baking, don't we, Jo??? x
A roasted onion is a thing of beauty, but I reckon a dash of roasted garlic added makes it even better! Happy Easter!

I do miss the free magazine from Waitrose in the UK which was stuffed full of foody articles and recipes, some from Angela too.
Your recipe sounds yummy! A good accompaniment to an intriguing book
I am currently listening to The End of the Affair (narrated by Colin Firth!) It is so good. I love how you included a related recipe. Well done.
